How it works

From redundancy to fractional work, in 5 steps

Join the collective

Either as a professional or organisation looking to hire - by completing our sign up form and sharing a few details. This help us understand what kind of role you're looking for or the talent gap you have. There's no cost and it should take less than 20 minutes.

We'll create a talent profile

That's tailored to short term fractional roles and share it around the collective. We'll use AI to help us create the profiles. They'll be personalised but we won't use full names so they can be shared wider.

Organisations will review

Where there's a potential fit, they will let us know and we'll make a simple introduction via email. We also encourage others in the collective - professionals or organisations - who are aware of opportunities through their own network to share profiles and help each other find the right roles.

It's over to you

Once any introductions have been made, you can take the conversation forward and decide if there's a good fit or not. We set the day rate for the first 20 days and will suggest roles. The terms and usual contracting will be specific to each organisation so we won't get involved. We don't expect all introductions to lead to a agreed fractional role, but we trust all of the conversations are helpful whether you're a professional or hiring organisation.

Get paid

For professionals, you'll be paid directly by the hiring organisation based on the terms you agree. For the pilot, we will invite organisations at the end of a successful placement to pay us whatever they feel is a fair amount based on the value received. This could be £0 although we hope it will be more.
